In honor of the tobacco capitol of Honduras, Danli Reserve is made from an exquisite blend of tobacco from the richest growing region in the country, the Jamastran Valley. Each cigar has gone through a rigorous process, from seed to final product to ensure its right to bear the name - Danli Reserve. Also available twice a year, around Christmas and Fathers day, is the Limited Edition Sun Grown Danli Reserve Torpedo. The Danli Reserve has a silky smooth, lightly veined Habano wrapper over a firm and full filler. The Draw is deliberate and it has a slow, even burn. Right off the bat, this cigar delivers a spicy pepper punch which smooths out into an earthy, leather flavor after half an inch. Into the middle this smoke delivers a straight forward, hearty character one would expect from a Caribe made powerhouse. You can almost taste the rich Honduran soil while filling the air with a pleasant aroma. It produces a dense, light grey ash that clings to the cigar and must be coaxed off. Somewhere along the line it mellows into a toasty, woodsy experience before coming to a robust finish. Not recommended on an empty stomach, this cigar is better suited for sitting back and kicking the shoes off after dinner.
